Fire Warden Training Course
6th October 2010 at The George Hotel Colchester.
Due to the continuing pressure from the fire authorities to comply with the latest fire regulations. Firepoint are increasing our training schedules. This is to ensure our clients are protected from possible prosecution
The course begins with an informal introduction period, our ex-fire officer instructor will continue with a slide presentation covering the basics of fire. Candidates will be encouraged to ask questions, share their experiences and interact with other delegates. Videos will be shown and candidates will learn the responsibilities of the fire warden. Tea and coffee will be served midway through the instruction. After which an introduction to fire extinguishers will be given with the course concluding with the candidates having the opportunity to use various types of extinguishers on a live fire. It is suggested that the delegates wear sensible clothing and bring a coat along just in case the weather is not so good. Candidates will be given a certificate of attendance on completion of the course and will be encouraged to call our helpline should they require further advice or did not entirely understand any part of the instruction.

Our trainers can visit your premises to carry out fire training, all we require is a room with seating and an external area should fire extinguisher training be required. Please contact us for further information.

We would like to welcome our new business development manager, David Gray, to Firepoint UK Ltd. and introduce him to our clients. David will be contacting existing clients to introduce himself when time allows. David is currently procuring some very interesting clients and we are sure that he will be a valued asset to the company. Jane our sales manager is currently in Cyprus and considering staying there - Don't do it Jane - you will be sorely missed. Thankfully the summer hols are finished now and we are back to fully staffed status, apologies for any late invoices etc.
Well almost half way through September already, a couple of hot days for the summer and now quickly approaching them days at the end of the year that the kids look forward to. Don't time fly. Our alarm section is rapidly gaining momentum and this obviously helps us to be more competitive and win more contracts. As this mail is only being sent to persons/companies we already provide a service for I would like to ask for some feed back from you on your experiences with us. If we fall down in any areas please let me know, if you don't how can we improve. On the other hand if we excel in any areas again a comment would be so much appreciated.
Also any referrals would be most welcomed, we do strive to excellence and one day we may achieve it with your help. Further to this we are currently working towards ISO 9000, have almost completed the CHAS and Constructionline entry requirements and will soon attain SAFE contractor status.
