The employer is responsible for ensuring staff have sufficient fire training, what to do in the event of a fire and the procedures to be adopted in an emergency situation.

What is the point of installing first aid fire fighting equipment, extinguishers etc if your staff are not able to operate them.

Fire warden training including a follow up assessment to assess staff and monitor their knowledge of the subject.

In larger companies there should be dedicated personell that have recieved a higher level of fire training and who have volunteered to assist in sweeping the building, and other responsibilities in an emergency situation.

Fire log book and record keeping, monitoring of and recommendations for improvement.

Drills will target individuals / areas of weakness.

Should your company be unfortunate enough to have an incident or a fire related claim on your companies insurances, we will attend site immediately (24 hours a day) and liaise with the fire authority and insurance company, on your company's behalf.
